Aquila is the only addiction health clinic accredited by The Joint Commission in the Nation’s Capitol.
Our vision is to support a health-conscious society that is equipped and motivated to address the disease of addiction at first symptoms with primary and specialty healthcare interventions. We deliver treatment without prejudice or mythology, and with respect and dignity for individuals and their families in healing at earlier and earlier stages of illness.
These are the important features of Aquila’s service:
·Masters level clinicians.
·Psychiatric examinations within five days of entering treatment.
·A core treatment regimen of 16 weeks: six weeks IOP and ten weeks of OP.
·Weekly individual sessions with primary counselor in addition to group therapy.
·Group size limited to 12 clients.
·JACHO Accredited
·Housing available to those in Aquila care.
·Family group sessions, teaching appropriate support as well as self-care (free of charge).
