Option One: 90-Day Co-Occurring Treatment Program
(including housing and access to TMS and EMDR Therapy)
plus 2 Months Therapy Post-Discharge
This program is intended for individuals experiencing both substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders (e.g., PTSD, depression, anxiety, etc.) who want to address both in treatment with different approaches. It includes 90 days of treatment and housing in a supervised sober living home, plus food and transportation to and from treatment.
The intake process starts with a comprehensive assessment with our board certified Addiction Medicine doctor, a Health & Wellness exam by our physician, psychiatric evaluation by one of our psychiatric team members, and a biopsychosocial assessment with the primary therapist.
The first phase of treatment will be a month of Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), which includes individual, group and family therapy, and case management, from 10am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday. Therapy will address cravings, identify underlying causes of substance use, treat co-occurring mental health issues, and focus on developing healthy coping skills.
The second phase of treatment will include 30 days of Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP) 3 hours per day Monday through Friday, with the schedule varying depending on the individualized treatment plan (either mornings or afternoons). During this time, your care team will begin looking into options for your transition plan, either work or school, and assist in the process.
The third phase of treatment will include IOP for 3 days a week while you are working or attending school and integrating what you are learning in treatment into your daily life. Throughout treatment, you will have follow-up appointments with the medical and psychiatric team, as needed.
The following are included at no additional charge as appropriate:
- Access to TMS for depression, anxiety or SUD cravings (6 week protocol) if appropriate
- EMDR for trauma (12 weeks) if appropriate
- Two months of weekly check-ins with therapist or case manager after completing the 90-day program and you have returned home (depending on need)
- If outpatient detox/withdrawal management is needed at the start of treatment, it will be provided at the start of treatment prior to programming and will count toward the 90 days.
